Innovation Project Manager

Fixed Term for 23 months/Secondment

Salary Scale:  Band 7 (£40,872 - £47,846) per annum

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager has arisen within NHS Tayside Innovation. This post will influence and drive forward innovation to deliver significant improvements in patient care and the delivery of services.

The Project Manager role will provide project management services and innovation led consulting services to NHS Tayside workers as well as our partners in academia, industry and other public sector bodies.  This includes the management of discrete and/or linked innovation projects from initiation to handover in line with requirements and priorities set by NHS Tayside Innovation Senior Management Team.

You will successfully develop and manage plans, risks and project resources. You will also manage, coordinate and deliver the projects, utilising project management methodology, to deliver outcomes to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget. Stakeholder engagement is a key element in delivering the innovation programme and its anticipated benefits.

You must be able to travel throughout Tayside on occasion and sometimes across Scotland as required.

High levels of communication and project management skills are necessary to perform this role effectively.

Hours of work are:  Full time 37.5 hours per week.
