Critical Care is looking to recruit a Band 7 Lead MCS coordinator, to join the leadership team within the ICU/HDU. The MCS coordinator will lead and develop the MCS service and ensure the safe and effective delivery of MCS therapies, including Extracorporeal Membrane oxygenation (ECMO), short term ventricular assist devices (STVAD), long term ventricular assist devices (LTVAD), Impella and other forms of mechanical circulatory support.
Suitable applicants will have previous Critical Care experience in level 2 and level 3 care. They will be educated at graduate level, have experience of team leadership and exhibit a desire to contribute to the development of the service in the HDU/ITU. They will also have demonstrable ECLS experience.
