An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Peer Support Worker to join the award winning ‘Veteran F1rst Point Lothian’ (V1PL) team.  The holistic V1P model provides a range of social and mental health support facilitated by our peer support workers and clinicians.  The job holder should have experience of military life and a keen interest in supporting veterans with a range of welfare and psychological needs. 

Military service is an essential requirement of this post.  Candidates invited to interview will be asked to provide proof of service and any relevant qualifications.

If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
