We are looking for a committed, motivated and experienced Endoscopy Practitioner who will support the delivery of Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) within the National Endoscopy Training Programme. In this post you will be working within a small and enthusiastic team to support the attainment of SVQ awards.
You will work closely with the Clinical Educator (Vocational Learning) and the wider Clinical Education team to support staff development.
You will be a UK NMC Registered Nurse/ODP with an ordinary level degree in nursing or healthcare (or equivalent) or you may be a HCSW who has completed SVQ at SCQF level 7 and demonstrated progressive and extensive experience in endoscopy. Possession of SVQ Assessor/Internal Verifier awards is advantageous, however training and support will be provided to obtain this.
You will have demonstrated teaching experience, knowledge of SQA procedures and excellent communication and time management skills.
This post is initially funded for one year, however it is likely this will be extended
