Lead GP for Cancer Palliative Care

Applications are welcome for the above Permanent part time 2 sessions per week post based in Waverley Court/various bases across NHS Lothian.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, current or previous, GP to support the initiation, co-ordination and promotion of initiatives designed to improve continuity and the quality of cancer & palliative care in Lothian.
The post holder will be an experienced GP with extensive professional experience in cancer & palliative care and have full GMC registration.
The post holder will work collaboratively with other GP Cancer Leads within SCAN and elsewhere across Scotland to share and promote best practice. In addition the post holder will have effective communication and networking skills to work with HSCP’s and GP’s in Lothian to deliver educational needs for cancer & palliative care.
