A rarely available opportunity has arisen for a learning disability /mental health registered nurse to join the Children’s Community Learning Disability Team.
This team is part of the wider Community Children and Young Person’s Community Nursing service.
You will work in partnership with collogues from a wide range of disciplines both internally and externally as well as with children / young people and their parents / carers, to provide specialised holistic nursing assessment, intervention, monitoring and review of children & young people with a learning disability.
There will be an expectation for the post holder to have the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, which may include evening and weekend work; however the core hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 5.
A full induction period will be available to the successful candidate, along with any identified training required provided.
