An excellent opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Senior Accountant / Finance Team Leader to join Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, which is a partnership between Angus Council and NHS Tayside, providing community-based health and social care services for the population of Angus.

You will operate within a team providing a comprehensive financial management service to the Partnership.  The annual budget for these services is £210m.


Reporting to the Partnership Finance Manager, you will jointly lead a team of staff in providing an effective and responsive financial service to the Health and Social Care Partnership. This will include fulfilling the statutory financial obligations of the Partnership.  In addition to monthly and annual financial reporting at partnership level, the post holder will contribute to and support an emerging portfolio of innovative transformation projects across health and social care.


With a proactive approach to development of effective systems and processes, and experience in management of change, you will have strong leadership qualities, be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, and have the ability to influence.


We are looking for an individual with relevant accounting experience, fully qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and post qualification experience in a busy organisational environment.


The current working arrangement is based on a blended model of home and office based working.
