A full time vacancy has arisen in our Department of Psychological Services and Research. The post is managed within the Child & Adolescent Psychological Service. 
Applications are invited from an enthusiastic and energetic HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist who wants to play a key role in this service.   The successful candidate will be involved in service design, policy development and engagement with service users, carers and professionals.
As well as some direct work with service users, the postholder will also be expected to offer consultation to other health professionals, local authority staff and the third sector to support their work with this client group.  The postholder will also provide training and supervision to staff to enhance psychological practice within the wider workforce.
The Department, which now has a complement of around 60 staff, has Psychologists in all major specialities and it is a friendly, supportive and lively place to work.  We have strong links with Edinburgh and Glasgow Universities and take trainees from both Clinical Psychology courses. We also provide placements and supervision for CBT Therapists.
The post has dedicated CPD and supervision time.
