We have an opportunity for a part-time band 7 pharmacist to join our pharmacy team on a 9 month fixed term basis.
Working as part of the Community Health & Social Care (CH&SC) Pharmacy team, you will work in GP practices across the Stewartry to assist in the provision of the new pharmacotherapy service that is being implemented as part of the GP contract. This is a brand new and exciting General Practice Clinical Pharmacy service that will see pharmacists and pharmacy technicians take a leading role in medicines management and medication review as part of the multidisciplinary GP and CH&SC teams. You will also help to support the promotion of cost-effective prescribing and implementation of cost-effective prescribing initiatives.
This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining the expanding team that we have here in Dumfries & Galloway and a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of working in a primary care setting.
It is a requirement of the post that you hold GPhC registration or are due to gain registration in the near future.
