We are recruiting to Band 5 Registered General Nurse posts within the Monitoring Clinic - Outpatient Services across NHS Lothian
The Outpatient Departments within Outpatients & Associated Services encompass a wide range of specialties.
These Outpatient Departments currently host the following specialties - Scottish Liver Transplant, Sleep Medicine, Cardio-Thoracic, Diabetes, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Colorectal, Reproductive Health, Haematology, Medicine & Acute Services, Respiratory & Hypertension Clinics which includes a 24 hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring Service.
Succesful candidates will provide monitoring services to designated review clinic patients in selected outpatients settings supporting high quality monitoring clinic services and nursing care to patients with a variety of clinical needs in a clinic setting, meeting the identified physical and psychological needs. The post holder will be involved with the management of direct and in-direct patient care.
The post holder will also deliver the clinic monitoring service provision for clinic patients within Roodlands/Lauriston Buildings as well as other designated community settings as required.
