An opportunity has arisen for a focused Individual with middle management experience to oversee the running of the Catering Department at Victoria Hospital including our retail units in Central Fife and outlying areas.
You will act as a line manager and have overall responsibility for supporting the Catering Supervisors and staff ensuring all are provided with appropriate training and support to meet the requirements of the department.
You should have good interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure and have the ability to prioritise workload. You must also have the ability to use your own initiative and delegate effectively with a flexible approach to work due to the demands on the service at any given time. Working as part of a team is integral to this role within the NHS setting not only in the catering department but within a wider network of the Facilities Team; this includes Support Services, Estates Department and Facilities Department.
This post will be worked 5 days over 7 and will involve evening and weekend working to suit the needs of the service.
