Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist (ACNS) will manage the complete clinical care for their patients within the limb reconstruction service utilising an expert knowledge base and clinical competence to support multi-professional teams within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Working closely with the Limb reconstruction Consultant and as part of the clinical team, the ACNS, as a clinical leader, has the freedom and authority to act autonomously in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients receiving care through the Limb Reconstruction Service.
You will provide high quality care for limb reconstruction patients within QEUH, meeting identified physical and psycho-social needs. The role of the Limb Reconstruction ACNS is pivotal to the coordination and delivery of effective multidisciplinary treatment.
It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with Significant comprehensive post registration experience within a healthcare setting some of which must be at a senior practitioner level. You should also be recorded as a Nurse Independent/Supplementary Prescriber (V300) with the NMC
Advanced CNS’s are educated at Masters Level in advanced practice and are assessed as competent in this level of practice.
The shift pattern for this post is day shift/
