An excellent opportunity within ward B22 has arisen for enthusiastic, flexible and self motivated nurses who are committed to the provision of safe, consistent patient centred quality care.

This is an ideal opportunity for Registered Nurses to enhance their clinical skills & knowledge caring for elderly patients. As part of a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, AHP staff, consultants, discharge coordinators, community teams and integrated social services the post holder will have responsibility for assessment, care planning and coordination of the patients to expedite early intervention and planning of discharge.

Duties may vary with the type of ward/department and the degree of patient dependency

The successful applicants will:-

  • have good communication skills
  • have good organisational skills
  • be responsible for the assessment of patients and the planning, implementation and evaluation of care
  • be committed to their own ongoing personal development
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to work using their own initiative
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management skills

The post is rotational days/nights and the successful candidate will be expected to be flexible to meet the demands of the organisation.
