Vacancies have arisen within Loch View, Learning Disability in-patient service for Band 3 Personal Carers.

The successful candidates will be able to display excellent communication skills, de-escalation skills, observation and reporting skills to assist the registered nursing staff in the delivery of a person-centred therapeutic model of care.  A multidisciplinary approach to care is adopted therefore it is essential that the successful candidate can work as part of a team.

A caring, flexible and enthusiastic approach is essential as well as a genuine interest in working with people with a learning disability who may also have co-morbid mental health problems and who challenge services.   

Previous experience in working with people with a learning disability is desirable.
