This opportunity will be offered on a secondment or fixed term basis for 6 months whilst the recruitment for the permanent position takes place.​​​​​​​

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional, forward thinking, Senior Administrator to work within the NHS Golden Jubilee Corporate Governance department.

Reporting directly to our Head of Corporate Governance and Board Secretary, this role will help provide effective management to our corporate administration function and will also focus on further developing an effective corporate governance framework to support our ambitious Board Strategy. 

As Deputy Head of Corporate Governance, you will be responsible for developing and embedding high quality and efficient processes to ensure the effective running of our corporate governance agenda.  Working directly with our Executive and Senior Team, you will help manage a diverse and fast paced workload, while providing corporate governance and administration advice and expertise to all senior level stakeholders

You will also play an important role in managing our professional secretariat function to support the Board Chair and Chief Executive’s Office as well as effectively manage our Board, Committees and Senior Management Groups.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have a background in the delivery of corporate services with a strong understanding of corporate governance and public sector policy and procedures.  You will also have excellent writing skills for minute and report writing and a proven track record of managing and leading staff.
