£24,670 - £30,742 (AfC Band 5) Pro-rata
The Scottish Health Council works to promote and improve patient and public participation in the delivery of services across Health and Social Care Partnerships in Scotland. We do this in a number of ways including advising on how to involve patients, carers and the wider community in the decisions they make about services.
This post offers an exciting opportunity to promote the activities of the Scottish Health Council within the NHS Lanarkshire area. Working with relevant stakeholders, you will develop productive working relationships with local public and patient representative bodies to support the effective delivery of the Patient Focus & Public involvement activities of the Board and Partnerships and work collaboratively to promote improvement.
Ideally, you will have public involvement and training experience, excellent oral and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small team. Based in Hamilton, you will be prepared to travel to across Lanarkshire as well as occasionally to other locations in Scotland.
