Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7)

Fixed Term until 31/01/2021


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist to join the team providing a clinical pharmacy service to the Regional infectious Diseases Unit (RIDU) at the Western General Hospital. The postholder will contribute to the delivery and development of the clinical pharmacy services to a HIV outpatient clinic and home delivery service and a 31 bed inpatient unit. Other RIDU clinics include Hepatitis C, Tropical Medicine, Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) and Travel Medicine.

Candidates must have a Master of Pharmacy degree or equivalent; be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and be working towards completion of the Scottish Hospital Pharmacy Vocational Training Scheme or equivalent. Your experience will have been gained working in a patient focused environment using your knowledge and skills to improve patient care and promote optimal outcomes from medicines.
