We are seeking to recruit 0.9 WTE an enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to a permanent post providing psychology input within Adult Psychological Therapies. This post provides a great opportunity to be part of a team of psychologists, nurse therapists and counsellors offering specialist psychological intervention to a range of clients referred mainly by GPs and psychiatrists. NHS Forth Valley Psychological Therapies Service adopts a matched care model offering computerised CBT and courses in mindfulness and stress control as well as individual and group therapy.   In addition to therapeutic work there will be opportunities for consultancy, supervision and service development. 

 

The department provides a friendly and supportive environment in which to work with a rolling programme of departmental CPD and is currently doing joint work with MHAIST around the importance of staff wellbeing.
