The Care home liaison service is currently undergoing review and this therefore is an exciting time to be joining our team, sharing and contributing your experiences to the shaping and development of this service. You will be a registered mental health nurse, with NMC registration, educated to degree level and evidence of having undertaken /or a commitment to further training in relevant psychological therapies . A driving license is essential for this post. You will, through excellent assessment and communication skills, and in partnership with patients, carers and MDT colleagues deliver mental health nursing interventions which support person centred care. You will have a working knowledge of psychological therapies approach to stress and distress in dementia. You will have sound knowledge of mental health legislation, and will on occasions provide supervision to junior staff and students. You will support the Nurse Team Lead and make effective contribution to the development of mental health nursing and partnership working . This post may initially be based at Parkview Resource Centre in Shettleston or Belmont Resource Centre at Stobhill Hospital. There is part time and full time positions available with this post but job share and other part time posts will be considered.
