We are seeking to recruit a District Nurse (Specialist Practitioner) to work with the dynamic Teviot Community Nursing Team.
This post provides an opportunity to develop your leadership, coaching and management skills whilst supporting the Team Leader to deliver a high standard of care.
Running caseloads in the Teviot area you will work alongside the GPs and Community Nursing Teams assessing, implementing and delivering a variety of care needs to patients in their own home.
The role will also involve the day to day management of the Community Nursing Team, ensuring that a high standard of person centred care is delivered and recorded using our electronic patient record (EMIS web). In addition you will work alongside the wider health care team to ensure integration of services and streamlined care for patients.
Applicants must be compassionate leaders that have excellent communication skills and a drive to deliver high quality nursing care. Specialist practice qualification is essential for this post.
