Fixed term for three years in the first instance*
The Deputy Training Programme Director in General Surgery will be responsible for managing specialty training programmes for doctors holding the following appointments: specialty registrar (StR); and locum appointments for training (LATs).
The Deputy TPD should be a Consultant and is accountable to the Postgraduate Dean or appropriate Associate Dean. He or she may also combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor.
