An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team in the Health and Safety Department at NHS Forth Valley. You will assist in providing leadership for the Management of Violence and Aggression Team, shaping how learning will be delivered, reviewing best practices and ensuring an approach that best meets the needs of the organisation, by providing advice and guidance relating to all aspects of the management of violence and aggression. 

The post holder will report directly to the Team Leader of the Violence & Aggression Service and will be a part of the wider Health and Safety Service. You should have a nationally recognised qualification in Violence & Aggression Training with; experience delivering management of violence and aggression training programmes; and working within the field of mental health and / or learning disability within a healthcare setting. You will have a healthcare related degree or equivalent qualification and be registered to the NMC or HCPC.

Applicants should have knowledge and understanding of the legal, best practice and practical application required to provide expert management of violence and aggression advice, training, and guidance to all staff within NHS Forth Valley. As training and communication will form a large proportion of the posts activities, excellent presentation and communication skills are necessary to meet the essential and desired criteria.
