These posts are available from February 2020 for a period of 12 months. You must have completed the foundation programme or equivalent. All successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on specific areas of development such as Medical Education audit, service development programmes and quality improvement projects. These posts will not lead to a CCT in the specialty, but time spent in this post may be beneficial in applying to specialty training in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery or related Paediatric Surgical specialties. Out of hours cover for Paediatric Surgical Specialities will be incorporated into this post on a 1 in 9 or 10 basis. You will be expected to participate fully in the departmental educational programme and be subject to learning agreement and engagement with the ISCP process. Although these posts do not hold educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean, they will give valuable experience in paediatric surgical and associated specialities (general surgery, urology, orthopaedics and Neonatology).
