Exciting opportunities have arisen for skilled and experienced Addictions Caseworkers, who can demonstrate a commitment to providing high quality services to vulnerable offenders.   Two posts will initially be based at HMPYOI Polmont and one at HMPYOI Cornton Vale, to work within the Prison Healthcare Addiction Service (PHAS)

As such you will bring a range of experience, delivering therapeutic interventions across Forth Valley Prisons in line with the expectations of the Scottish Government (2014) National Quality Principles framework and recovery orientated systems of care (ROSC) treatment model for prisoners with problem drug and alcohol problems.  

You will need to be forward thinking, flexible and creative and will work in partnership with the SPS and other agencies to continually develop and deliver a service that reflects the needs of offenders whilst in custody.
