The AHP Rheumatology Team is looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the team. We are a Team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who provide a service to patients with inflammatory joint disease across Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Our service offers 1:1 therapy appointments as well as one stop clinics offering joint injection and ultrasound imaging. We have established exercise groups and self management classes and are actively using the AHP fit note to help support our patients to remain in work. The vacant post is based within the South Sector in Gartnavel General Hospital however there is potential to move between the hospital sites for training and clinical cover. We are looking for a Physiotherapist who has a special interest and experience in MSK conditions, someone who has good core physiotherapy skills,, excellent communication skills and an aptitude to learn and develop. Internal training can be provided to support your development in rheumatology. It is essential that you have a degree/diploma in Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration.
Although this is a full time position we are flexible and willing to consider part time applications and secondment opportunities. If you wish to apply for this as a secondment please talk to your current line manager in the first instance.
