The Physiotherapy service is looking to a recruit a band 5 Physiotherapist. This post offers a new graduate an opportunity to gain broad experience. This is a rotational post which includes, Musculo- skeletal Out-Patients, Orthopaedics, Surgical including CCU, Medical including Admissions unit, Rehab including Stroke and also Care of the Elderly. There is also the opportunity to work in the Community setting. All rotations based within Dumfries.
Participation in the weekday and weekend evening on call rota is mandatory and flexible starting and finishing times would be an essential part of this role. The post holder would be required to work flexibly over 7 days and in other parts of the service as required.
If you are looking to develop your higher Band 5 skills this post would also be suitable for you .You will be supported by experienced senior staff and will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and managerially, working with junior staff and students.
The service offers a friendly and supportive working environment which actively supports Continuing Professional Development, through an established supervision, appraisal system and in-service training.
You must be able to travel independently across NHS Dumfries & Galloway.
