An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Consultant Anaesthetist with sub-specialty interests in Vascular and Emergency General Anaesthesia. Future opportunities for individuals with a subspecialty interest in difficult airway and ENT anaesthesia may also be able to be accommodated
The post is full time and will consist of 10 PA’s plus the opportunity to take up further clinical duties if available
The post is based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and will contribute to the provision of elective and emergency anaesthetic services, but sessions may be required at Perth Royal Infirmary or Stracathro Hospital
NHS Tayside is a major teaching centre and a significant commitment to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching will be expected
The successful candidate will be a team player, and expected to contribute enthusiastically to the educational, managerial and service development activities within NHS Tayside
