An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative HPB Nurse Specialist to compliment our Upper GI service. This post will allow you to develop your clinical expertise in the field of HPB oncology and develop your clinical skills and professional development. Depending on your experience this post will be Band 6 but after relevant training and completion of relevant competencies this will progress to a Band 7 post.

You will hold a Master’s degree or be working towards one have completed the Clinical Assessment (Module) SCQF level 11, Non-Medical Prescribing SCQF level 11 and be deemed clinically competent by an identified clinical mentor.

Or you will be willing to undertake further appropriate academic and in-house training prior to progress to band 7 within an agreed timescale.
You will provide leadership and provide quality care to patients, we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate team spirit, initiative, and flexibility and have the enthusiasm to train further.

Please note the salary for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
