North Division, NHS Lanarkshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for temporary part time Band 6 Physiotherapist to cover maternity leave, wishing to be part of the Integrated Rehab Team.  The post is based in Airdrie locality to provide physiotherapy to the population of Airdrie and surrounding villages. The main duties are to provide a community based physiotherapy service to the people in Airdrie area. Car driver essential.


The successful candidate will take a lead role for a designated clinical area with a caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge. They will have responsibility for the supervision, education and development of more junior staff, physiotherapy support workers and students within the speciality. Provide a specialised resource to other healthcare staff/patients/carers. Has active involvement in Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness and Research.
