The District Nursing Service operates an open access policy delivering care to patients who are housebound or who have a nursing need which makes a home visit more appropriate, or within a clinic setting. You will participate in the care of patients in their own home or community setting under the direction of a registered nurse, taking into account the lifestyle, race, gender and cultural background, and factors which impact on physical, mental or emotional health. It is essential you have a SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience and have good communication skills. A current Driving Licence is desirable for this post.
The shift pattern is Monday – Friday with weekends on a 8.30-16.30
