A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for Nursing Auxiliaries to join the nursing team within ward 33 Victoria Hospital. These posts will consist of day and night shift rotation.

Ward 33 is a 23 bedded orthopaedic trauma unit. We are looking for individuals to join our team, an active interest in, surgical or medical nursing is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

You will be expected to carry out a range of clinical skills and associated administrative duties.  Good interpersonal and communication skill are required, as is the ability to demonstrate your commitment to patient safety and evidence of continuous professional development.  You will be offered the necessary support and training to meet the demands of the wards. 

You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible.

Previous nursing experience is desirable. You must be a team player and good communicator. A willingness to learn/consider SVQ 2/3

If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post.
