You will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC who will support the delivering of care to patients within the treatment room caseload. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. These will be developed in partnership with Patients, Family, Carers and Significant others, and will be evidence-based taking into consideration the lifestyle, race, gender and cultural background, and factors which impact on physical, mental or emotional health. As a mentor (underpinned by theoretical and experiential knowledge) you will ensure that systems are in place to supervise and support pre-registration nursing students. Accommodate other multi-disciplinary and multi-agency personnel who require a working knowledge of the treatment room service. it is essential that you have relevant post registration experience. It would be desirable if you have Treatment Room/Community Nursing experience and you have experience as a Nurse prescriber. The shift pattern for this post is 4 days over 7, 8.30am - 4.30pm.
