Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology and General (Internal Medicine)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to apply for the position of Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology based at St John’s Hospital, Livingston in NHS Lothian.
This is a substantive post and will be paid in line with the pay and conditions of service remuneration of hospital medical and dental staff [NHS Circular: PCS(DD)2016/1].
The post-holder will join a dynamic team of colleagues at St John’s providing inpatient and outpatient services for patients in West Lothian. Subspecialist interests are actively encouraged. Current services include inpatient care, outpatient clinics and specialist diabetes services. Working closely with existing core services, the aim is to ensure well co-ordinated care and support attuned to an individual’s needs. In addition, the post-holder would be expected to provide under- and post-graduate teaching and training.
