Applications are sought from suitably experienced individuals to join our procurement team at Kirkland’s Hospital - Full-time, Monday to Friday.

The post holder is required to have Knowledge of Procurement / purchasing activities acquired through Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 3, (SVQ3) and/or working towards Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations (Level 2) and/or relevant experience.

Understanding of Standing Financial Instructions, Scheme of Delegation, Purchase to Pay process and cost centre structure within the Health Board, experience of Procurement and Supply chain management activity is required.

Strong evidence of IT literacy is also equired given the nature of the role.

The successful candidate will have analytical and data management skills, in particular how to manage data using Microsoft Excel. Good communication skills in oral, written and presentation format and good organisational skills
