The Financial Services Department of NHS Highland would like to recruit 1 full time Finance Assistant. This is a generic post whereby the postholder will be required to carryout a variety of processing and general office tasks in all areas of financial services, including accounts recievable, accounts payable and the cash office.
The post is based at Assynt House, Beechwood Park, or New Craigs, Inverness .
This post requires someone with excellent keyboard skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately. Candidates must be of a positive and friendly disposition with a pro-active approach to their job. They must have a flexible approach, as they will be supporting several financial services sub teams.
Developing good customer relations is also a vital attribute for these posts. Customers not only include suppliers and debtors but also patients and adult social care clients, as well as a wide range of staff who work in many different functions and locations throughout NHS Highland. Excellent communication skills and a helpful and supportive approach are essential to successfully carry out the role.
