Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours
Duration: Fixed term / Secondment until 30th June 2024* (Maternity Cover)

Please be advised that travel to Westport, Edinburgh will be required.
Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
Responsibilities will include but are not restricted to:
- Dealing with payroll queries, conducting variance checks
- Processing expenses claims
- Weekly supplier payment runs and ad hoc foreign payments etc
- Posting cash and income,
- Credit Control
- Routine and non-routine enquires in all areas
What you'll bring
These will include but are not restricted to;
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working as part of a Finance team
- Extensive experience of MS Excel and MS Word
- Experience of dealing with Payroll and employee queries
* For NHS employee applicants: Secondment or SLA will be considered in the first instance
