Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh is the central hub for South East Scotland . We perform in excess of 900 CRM procedures and 500 EP procedures annually. We are fully supportive of personal development and training. We are involved in national and international studies.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual with the personality and drive to support, develop and progress our CRM service at RIE. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level with the appropriate BSc in clinical physiology (Cardiac) or equivalent and also a post graduate certificate in CRM  devices.

Knowledge of EP is desirable.

Work as part of a team of Cardiac Clinical Physiologists to provide a Cardiac Physiology service across 5 sites in Lothian (RIE, WGH, St. John’s, ELCH, and Leith CTC). Main base RIE.

General rhythm management, department management and administration duties.

To provide expert clinical Cardiac Physiology skills to support all aspects of clinical work in CRM and/or Electrophysiology within NHS Lothian.

To support in new developments, research projects, training and promotion of the service.
