An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated enthusiastic, kind, caring and hardworking registered nurse to join the Pre operative assessment, Forth valley Royal Hospital.

We are a small team responsible for managing nurse led clinics for the assessment of patients who have elective surgery planned, ordering and following up on any extra investigations required.  This is an ideal opportunity for a registered nurse to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge working with patients undergoing elective surgery.   The applicant will also be responsible for providing advice to patients’ carers and allied health professionals.  Post registration experience within surgical would be advantageous

The successful applicants must have

  • good communication skills
  • good organisational skills
  • excellent team working skills with the ability to work using their own initiative
  • good time management skills
