Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
You will support the Executive Lead for Risk by overseeing and facilitating the implementation of the Board’s Risk Management Strategy and co-ordinating the development and implementation of risk management processes which ensure the Board’s corporate governance responsibilities in this area are met. You will produce regular risk management reports for a range of audiences and provide advice, guidance and training on the management of risk to colleagues across NES.
What you'll bring
- You will be a highly organised and focused individual with knowledge and experience of the management of risk in a complex corporate setting.
- You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to working collaboratively to build awareness and skills which facilitate efficient and effective risk management at all levels of the organisation.
Please note that travel across Scotland can be a business-as-usual requirement of this role and may require overnight stays.
