An exciting opportunity has arisen with Community Care and Treatment Service/District Nursing for an enthusiastic, motivated Band 7 Team Leader to join the H&SCP within Clacks/Stirling.

The post holder will provide professional leadership, management, coordination and governance of the CTAC/ Community district nursing service.

The post holder will work with the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM), General Practice’s and appropriate others in the enhancement and strategic development of the existing services, as well as the development of any new services based on the needs of the community. Therefore it is essential that the applicant can demonstrate evidence of service development. The post holder will be actively involved in changes occurring within community care and treatment services, linked to the transformation of Primary Care.

The post holder will have an awareness and understanding of the recent changes within the modernisation of the NHS, current professional and strategic policy drivers and the impact this will have on delivery of a patient centred service.  In addition you must be able to operate in a range of complex and multi-disciplinary inter-agency settings.

They will work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies providing expert professional knowledge.

It is essential that applicants have experience in leading and managing a team with community experience advantageous.   Previous knowledge of Service Development or Quality Improvement work is essential.
