We are excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and innovative Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnerships Community Rehab Bed Team. We are looking for a creative, dynamic individual to work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective delivery of patient care.

As a Specialist Occupational Therapist you will work in partnership with colleagues to support patients who are in one of Falkirk’s community rehab beds. You will be responsible for providing assessment and rehabilitation programmes to complex patients to support their return home. The role will involve working across professional and organisational boundaries alongside Partnership and Community Rehabilitation (ReACH) colleagues.

The service offers a varied clinical caseload, excellent peer support and training opportunities. You will be expected to participate in quality improvement, evidence based practice and in-service training. There may also be an opportunity to undertake the clinical supervision and appraisals of more junior staff, as well as contribute to the supervision and development of undergraduate/pre-reg students.

NHS Forth Valley is embracing contemporary working. As and when required the post holder will be expected to participate in twilight or weekend working.

The service covers the Falkirk Council area with the AHPs being based between Falkirk Community Hospital and local bases depending on demand.
