We are currently recruiting Nurses to (Complex Discharge Ward) - Acute Medicine of the Elderly in Victoria Hospital. We are looking for nurses who wish to develop skills in Medicine of the Elderly as well as nurses who are experienced in this specialty.  With the increasing number of frail older people in the population, there is an innovative frailty assessment in place at the front door point of admission which helps to identify appropriate acute admissions into Acute Medicine of the elderly wards. The experience available to you in Medicine of the Elderly will enable you to develop a range of skills which will be transferrable to many care settings and other inpatient specialties.  It is a developing specialty which offers the opportunity to nurse patients with complex conditions and acute delirium which can be challenging but highly rewarding.
You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care.  Applicants must have acute hospital experience and should be enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated with a real interest in acute Medicine of the Elderly with caring for the elderly population of Fife.

We are looking for good team players with excellent written and oral communication. There are permanent full time and part time positions available
