This is a part time 18.75 hour, fixed term post for 12 months.

 

You will provide a specialised clinical psychology service to patients of the Plastic Surgery & Burns Unit in Glasgow Royal Infirmary, which is a Regional service covering six Health Board areas. You will provide a highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures.

 

It is essential you have a Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HCPC, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. Further post-doctoral training, research and study across a range of areas, including advanced clinical skills would be beneficial. You should also have current registration with the HCPC.

 

The hours will be worked Monday to Friday (days hours to be agreed).
