This is an exciting opportunity to join the acute medical team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.  We are seeking an experienced, innovative pharmacist, with experience of delivering a service to advanced level, to acutely unwell patients.

In order to meet the ambitions of, “Achieving excellence in pharmaceutical Care,” we are looking to develop the roles of staff in particular the technical team, to be working with patients rather than be dispensary based, linking with primary care in order to reduce waste and to facilitate rapid discharge.  In addition we are aiming to achieve equity of service including enhanced clinical services at the weekend.   You will be expected to share this vision and demonstrate clear leadership in order to help deliver an efficient patient centered service.

You must be a registered Independent Prescriber and have completed your postgraduate Diploma/MSc in a relevant area. The combination of responsibilities within this post will provide an excellent opportunity for an experienced band 7 pharmacist, to further advance your leadership and management skills.
