As a Waiting List Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the overall management of the Out-Patient waiting list. You must be able to priorities itisingable to function witatient waiting list. workloads and maintaining workflow to ensure targets and deadlines are met as agreed with Deputy Health Records Manager. You will be responsible for the receipt and management of all referrals, liaising with medical and nursing staff and at all times adhering to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Waiting List Policy. You will liaise with clinicians to plan management for patients, allocate appointments, deal with telephone enquiries from internal/external agencies, ensuring capacity is utilised to full potential.  You will ensure accuracy and completeness of data input and will extract, collate and summarise information from the database to provide statistical reports for management. Previous Health Records experience essential. You should have 3 O grades or standard grades or equivalent and 1 must be English or have a good general education coupled with good office experience.  You should have effective communication skills, computer literacy, internet skills and ability to use initiative. This post is fixed term for 12 months.
