An opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent post based hosted by the Personality Disorder and Homelessness Team and would work within various locations across Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C). You will work with other members of the team to provide a range of clinical services including delivering mentalization based treatment. The team also provides consultation, reflective practice and training both within mental health services and the third sector. You will have a remit to support implementation and sustainability of the mentalization treatment service within GG&C.  You will be required to co-ordinate your role and manage staff to support the MBT developments. You should have training in one of the core mental health professions. You will be required to have training and experience within mentalization based treatment and have attained or working towards practitioner level. Experience working with personality disorder is essential. You will be required to undertake specialised mentalization assessments and deliver treatment interventions individually and in group therapy, You will contribute to the Health efficiency & access to treatment targets (HEAT) as part of secondary care services within a stepped care/matched care model. In addition, a commitment to undertake relevant and appropriate training and CPD will be expected.  It is essential that you are either currently a Registered Mental Health Nurse with the NMC  or an Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC or a Social Worker registered with the SSSC with significant post registration experience.  The shift pattern for this post is over 5 days.
