A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to work within the Interventional Cardiology nursing service at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital. The post may involve internal rotation between the Cardiology Overnight Ward and the Coronary Care Unit, and Cath Labs/Cardiology Day Unit with hours of work rostered flexibly across 24/7.
The successful candidate must be able to work in a busy unit and provide a high standard of safe, effective and compassionate person centred care to patients within the speciality. The post holder must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and display a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within the busy team. You will be required to competently perform the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects of care for patients within this specialty.
You should be able to demonstrate your commitment to ongoing personal and professional development and the ability to adapt to the diverse and variable demands of caring for patients within the Cardiology service.
Previous experience in Interventional Cardiology, Coronary Care, Cardiology or acute nursing is desirable for this position.
