Modern Apprenticeship - Healthcare Support Worker

We are delighted to announce we are recruiting to a number of entry level Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker (HSCW)  positions.  These posts within St John’s Hospital and our Learning Disabilities Services within the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and will be Modern Apprenticeships

To be considered for the Modern Apprenticeship programme candidates must be between 17-24yrs of age and hold a National 4 or above in English and Mathematics.  In addition to this we are also interested in your values, attitude and ability to learn and how this will enable you to become a valued member of our team.  The answers to our Assessment Questions are therefore extremely important and should reflect how you feel you match our desire for enthusiastic and dynamic people who demonstrate a can-do attitude.  Please note that your CV will not be considered as part of the application process.

Candidates how were not able to attend the information session on the 12^th February are still eligible to apply however there will be a requirement to read and complete paperwork before the first assessment day which will be sent after invites to interview have been issued.

For those who are successfully shortlisted after this, the interview process will consist of 2 assessment days which will take place on Tuesday 3^rd  with the second interview taking place on the 10^th or 11^th March.

Candidates who are successful in interview will be expected to start in NHS Lothian on Monday 27^th April 2020; we are not able to alter this date.
