You will contribute to the comprehensive multi-disciplinary team in providing care and support to service users and their families within the local community. You will maintain a caseload and contribute to clinics and group work and will foster a multi-disciplinary approach to clinical and managerial problems in a community setting. Under the supervision of Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPN) you will liaise with hospital and primary care teams, social work and voluntary agencies, and assist the CPN to promote and develop comprehensive nursing interventions for a range of mental health problems.
You will also have the responsibility for teaching and supervision of learners and unqualified staff.
It is essential you have Registered Mental Nurse with relevant experience in acute adult mental health desirable. The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
