This is a fixed term post for 12 months.
This post will form a new position within the multidisciplinary Gender Identity Clinic (Adults) at Sandyford. The role will be two-fold;
Helping to support those with additional needs who are on the waiting list, who would receive no support otherwise, an element of triage will exist within your remit to ensure patients are on the correct waiting list.
Providing psychosocial review and support, as well as medical monitoring for patients on the gender reassignment pathway, thus freeing up medical and psychology resource within the team.
It is essential you are a Registered Nurse (Adult or Mental Health), currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council with significant post registration experience working within a relevant clinical setting, or setting which can demonstrate similar skill set. Experience of working in with Gender Dysphoria is desirable .
The hours of this post are worked Monday to Friday.
